On Monday, Dr. Axel von Wiedersperg, CEO of Brückner Group, together with Markus Gschwandtner, Chief Sales Officer of Brückner, visited Gettel High-tech Materials Inc. in Zhejiang Province, China. Fang Wenbin, the chairman of Gettel, along with its senior management team, warmly received the delegation and held high-level talks. This meeting marked an important return visit by the global leader in film equipment to its core partner, with both sides engaging in in-depth exchanges on long-term strategic cooperation and collaborative technological innovation.

Gettel and Brückner have been cooperating since 2002. Over more than two decades, as Gettel has expanded its industrial footprint across China, it has become Brückner’s largest and most deeply integrated strategic partner in the country.
During the discussions, Dr. Wiedersperg first extended sincere congratulations to Mr. Fang on his appointment as Director of the 5th Council of BOPP Special Committee of China Plastics Processing Industry Association (CPPIA). The two sides reviewed their long-standing, solid and trusting partnership, and exchanged views on core topics including advanced film technology R&D, customized equipment integration, and production process synergy.
Moving forward, Gettel aims to deepen its cooperation with Brückner. The two sides will pursue better alignment between equipment and processes, upgrading their partnership from a project-based collaboration to a strategic alliance. Brückner committed to leveraging its global R&D resources to provide continuous and comprehensive technical support to Gettel. The Suzhou R&D Center of Brückner will offer equipment support and simultaneously carry out dedicated technical collaboration.

Chairman Fang extended his gratitude to Brückner for its longstanding support. He noted that Gettel stays dedicated to advancing product upgrades via technological innovation, follows a “high-quality, high-value” development path, and continues to optimize its global business layout. Dr. Wiedersperg highly endorsed this vision and extended an on-site invitation to Chairman Fang to visit Brückner’s German headquarters and to attend the Brückner Open House and Innovation Forum to be held in Suzhou next year.
Both sides agreed to set up a regular high-level exchange mechanism, elevating their collaboration from project-based procurement to comprehensive strategic cooperation. Moving forward, the two parties will deepen joint technological R&D and industrial synergy, and jointly build a benchmark for win-win China-German industrial cooperation.
